Plaza Shopping vai receber doações de material escolar

A campanha solidária “Janeiro – Tarefa de Todos” ganha sua quinta edição através do Plaza Shopping. A iniciativa, que visa mobilizar a população a doar material escolar novo e usado (em bom estado de conservação), em prol da Casa da Criança Marcelo Asfora (CCMA), começa nesta terça (6/1), com ponto de coleta no piso L1 do mall (próximo aos caixas eletrônicos) e na livraria Eu Amo Ler, no piso L2. Interessados em abraçar a causa podem contribuir com resmas de papel, lápis de cor, lápis de cera, cola branca, cola colorida, cadernos, lápis grafite, borracha, tinta, pincéis, palito de picolé e apontador. Também estão sendo arrecadados jogos lúdicos, pedagógicos e de raciocínio lógico. Tudo até 31 de janeiro.

“Muitas famílias de baixa renda enfrentam dificuldades para garantir o básico necessário ao início do ano letivo das crianças, e isso pode impedir que elas aprendam com segurança e confiança. Os materiais escolares fazem diferença real na rotina, na autoestima e no desempenho dos estudantes. É por isso que nossa atuação ganha ainda mais significado: queremos apoiar essas crianças para que comecem o ano motivadas, preparadas e com oportunidades iguais de crescimento e aprendizado”, afirma a coordenadora de Responsabilidade Socioambiental do Plaza Shopping, Jakeline Soares.

Responsabilidade Socioambiental no Plaza - Desde 2010, o Plaza realiza ações de Responsabilidade Socioambiental. O empreendimento assume seu compromisso socioambiental e desenvolve atividades e ações a partir dos seguintes eixos de atuação: educação e formação profissional, voluntariado corporativo, apoio a grupos e instituições, incentivo a atitudes sustentáveis, com atividades focadas na conscientização do descarte correto do lixo, na reutilização dos resíduos sólidos urbanos e na melhoria da mobilidade; coleta seletiva, adoção de área verde e utilização de energia solar.

CCMA – Criada em 1991, a Casa da Criança Marcelo Asfora (CCMA) é uma associação civil de caráter filantrópico sem fins lucrativos, que presta assistência a cerca de 100 crianças das comunidades de Casa Forte, na Zona Norte do Recife.
