Evento de ciência espacial terá programação imersiva no Cais do Sertão e RioMar Recife

As inscrições para participar da Space Week Nordeste 2025 estão abertas e vão até 12 de setembro. O congresso internacional de ciências espaciais chega em sua 4ª edição e acontece de 15 a 19 de setembro, no Cais do Sertão, nos dias 20 e 21 de setembro segue para o RioMar Recife, ampliando o acesso do público às atividades.

As inscrições para a programação no Cais do Sertão podem ser feitas pelo site spaceweeknordeste.com e os ingressos são vendidos a partir de R$ 50. Já a agenda no RioMar Recife será gratuita.

Com o tema “Expandindo horizontes no setor espacial”, o evento reúne estudantes, pesquisadores, empreendedores, gestores públicos e entusiastas da ciência para uma programação com palestrantes brasileiros e de outros cinco países.

Com uma agenda que inclui palestras, mesas-redondas, apresentação de trabalhos científicos e desafios estudantis, a Space Week busca promover o intercâmbio de experiências e o estímulo à pesquisa e inovação no setor espacial.

O evento é realizado pelo Laboratório de Observação da Terra da Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), com correalização do Governo de Pernambuco, por meio da Secretaria de Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação de Pernambuco (Secti/PE) e com o Museu Espaço Ciência, e apoio da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). “A Space Week Nordeste busca estimular o interesse pelo setor espacial, ampliando horizontes para a juventude, fortalecendo a inovação local e mostrando que o Nordeste tem potencial para ocupar um lugar de destaque na corrida espacial global”, destaca o diretor de Sensibilização e Difusão Científica, Diogo Lopes.

Um dos organizadores, o Prof. Doutor da UFC/EOLLAB, Antônio Geraldo, comentou sobre trazer o evento para Pernambuco e sobre a potência científica que há na região. “É uma oportunidade única para aproximar jovens, professores e pesquisadores para falarmos de astronomia, da inovação e das infinitas possibilidades que o espaço nos oferece”, comentou.
