Prorrogada campanha de doação de livros no RioMar Recife para crianças do Sertão pernambucano

O Festival RioMar de Literatura carrega, em sua essência, promover pautas sociais. Para além do sucesso da programação realizada no dia 24 de abril, com nomes celebrados nacional e internacionalmente, o RioMar Recife, em parceria com a ONG Amigos no Sertão, promove a arrecadação de livros literários infantis e juvenis para serem doados para crianças que moram no Sertão de Pernambuco. A campanha foi prorrogada e seguirá até o dia 31 de maio, com o baú de doações no SAC, no Piso L1.

A campanha teve início no foyer do Teatro RioMar, no dia 24 de abril, junto com a programação do Festival RioMar de Literatura, que contou com nomes como Marcelo Rubens Paiva, Pedro Pacífico, Daniela Arrais e Lirinha, atraindo um grande público. Desde o dia 25, o baú foi levado para o SAC do RioMar Recife para seguir arrecadando livros infantis e juvenis de qualquer gênero literário, com exceção de livros didáticos. Para fazer a doação, basta levar os livros novos ou usados em bom estado de conservação ao local.

A campanha seria encerrada neste domingo, dia 11 de maio, mas foi prorrogada até o final do mês. O baú ficará no SAC do RioMar Recife, localizado no Piso L1, próximo da Centauro, até o dia 31 de maio. O espaço funciona de acordo com o horário do shopping: de segunda a sábado das 9h às 22h e domingos e feriados das 12h às 21h. Todos os livros arrecadados serão entregues para a ONG Amigos no Sertão, que fará a entrega dos materiais para crianças do Sertão de Pernambuco.

“A ONG Amigos no Sertão atua na zona rural do Sertão de Pernambuco, levando dignidade e esperança aonde a ajuda raramente chega. Entre tantas ações transformadoras, está a doação de livros literários para crianças e adolescentes que têm pouco ou nenhum acesso à leitura. Esses livros, doados através do RioMar Recife, são entregues diretamente às mãos de quem mais precisa. E o impacto é enorme: os olhos brilham, os sonhos se acendem, e a leitura passa a ser uma ponte para um futuro melhor. Ler transforma. E a parceria do Riomar com os Amigos no Sertão está formando jovens leitores que, mesmo em meio às dificuldades, aprendem a imaginar, criar e sonhar”, afirma Ana Elisa, fundadora e voluntária da ONG Amigos no Sertão.

O RioMar Recife tem em sua cultura o estímulo à solidariedade através de campanhas de arrecadação e doações em diversas épocas do ano. Já a ONG Amigos no Sertão (@amigosnosertao) trabalha há 10 anos com ações sociais com os sertanejos que vivem em situação de vulnerabilidade social. Além de levar doações de roupas, alimentos, materiais de higiene e limpeza, os livros também fazem parte das campanhas da instituição.
