Marcelo Rubens Paiva, Pedro Pacífico, Daniela Arrais e Lirinha na 11ª edição do Festival RioMar de Literatura

A programação da 11ª edição do Festival RioMar de Literatura demonstra a robustez e expõe a grandeza deste evento, que já parte do calendário anual cultural do RioMar Recife. Nomes consagrados nacionalmente e celebrados mundialmente estão escalados para compor painéis e apresentações a partir das 16h do dia 24 de abril, no Teatro RioMar, em uma realização do RioMar Recife com o apoio e curadoria da jornalista Carmen Peixoto. O Festival RioMar de Literatura ainda promove uma campanha de arrecadação de livros infanto-juvenis para serem doados para crianças do Sertão de Pernambuco, além de programação cultural voltada para os jovens atendidos pelo Instituto JCPM. Os ingressos já podem ser adquiridos no App do RioMar Recife por R$ 20 (meia entrada) e R$ 40 (inteira).

Entre os nomes confirmados nesta 11ª edição do Festival RioMar de Literatura está o de Marcelo Rubens Paiva, autor do livro “Ainda Estou Aqui”, adaptado para o cinema e vencedor do Oscar na categoria Melhor Filme Internacional de 2025. O longa tem sido celebrado no mundo inteiro como peça fundamental na discussão sobre memória e justiça e um convite à reflexão sobre a luta contra o autoritarismo e violência cometidos durante a ditadura militar.  O escritor, dramaturgo e jornalista Marcelo Rubens Paiva, que será o homenageado do festival neste ano, traz em sua carreira narrativas cheias de humor e de ironia, com traços autobiográficos, mesclando o íntimo e o coletivo, combinando traumas pessoais com os conflitos políticos e sociais do Brasil. Ele conquistou o Prêmio Jabuti com o livro “Feliz Ano Velho”.

A programação do festival também contará com painel com Pedro Pacífico e Daniela Arrais. O advogado é criador do perfil “Bookster”, no qual são compartilhadas opiniões sobre os livros lidos desde 2017, e que dialoga com uma comunidade que partilha o amor pelos livros. Pedro Pacífico foi escolhido pela Revista Forbes Brasil como “30 Under 30” na categoria influenciador digital em 2021 e lançou o primeiro livro em 2023, intitulado “Trinta Segundos Sem Pensar no Medo”. Já a escritora pernambucana, jornalista, uma das criadoras da página @Contente.vc e professora de escrita criativa, Daniela Arrais, acaba de lançar seu primeiro livro, intitulado "Para todas as mulheres que não têm coragem", através do qual desafia mulheres a enfrentarem seus medos.

 O Festival RioMar de Literatura contará ainda com apresentação do músico, poeta e escritor Lirinha, que mesclará poesias com músicas que marcaram os seus 35 anos de carreira. A abertura da programação será com pocket show de Isadora Melo, cantora, compositora e atriz recifense, indicada em 2023 ao Prêmio da Música Brasileira na categoria intérprete regional. O festival ainda trará outros nomes celebrados nacionalmente em sua programação completa, que será divulgada em breve.

Além da programação da tarde no Teatro RioMar, haverá programação voltada para os jovens atendidos pelo Instituto João Carlos Paes Mendonça de Compromisso Social, na parte da manhã, na sede da instituição, em anexo ao RioMar Recife.

Doação de livros

Durante o Festival RioMar de Literatura, o RioMar Recife promove uma campanha de arrecadação de livros literários infantis e juvenis que serão doados para crianças que moram no Sertão de Pernambuco, através da ONG Amigos no Sertão. Poderão ser doados livros infantis e juvenis de qualquer gênero literário, com exceção de livros didáticos. Para fazer a doação, basta levar os livros novos ou usados em bom estado de conservação e colocar no baú que ficará na entrada do Teatro RioMar.

O RioMar Recife tem em sua cultura o estímulo à solidariedade através de campanhas de arrecadação e doações em diversas épocas do ano. Já a ONG Amigos no Sertão (@amigosnosertao) trabalha há 10 anos com ações sociais com os sertanejos que vivem em situação de vulnerabilidade social. Além de levar doações de roupas, alimentos, materiais de higiene e limpeza, os livros também fazem parte das campanhas da instituição.
