Shopping Patteo Olinda recebe ação do programa Alerta Celular

Pernambuco fechou o ano de 2024 com o registro de 52.143 celulares roubados ou furtados, conforme dados da Secretaria de Defesa Social (SDS). O número representa uma redução de 1,1% em relação a 2023, quando foram contabilizadas 52.719 ocorrências. Para combater esse tipo de crime, a SDS criou o programa Alerta Celular, uma ferramenta que permite aos cidadãos registrarem seus celulares no sistema.

Com isso, a polícia pode identificar, durante abordagens, aparelhos que tenham sido roubados ou furtados. Desde a criação do programa, em 2017, foram recuperados 77.787 celulares, sendo 11.128 apenas no ano de 2024. Além disso, a SDS ampliou a iniciativa e criou o programa Alerta Bike, voltado para o cadastro de bicicletas, auxiliando na identificação e recuperação desses veículos em casos de roubo ou furto.

Com o objetivo de conscientizar a população sobre a importância desses programas, a SDS realizará uma ação no Shopping Patteo Olinda, no dia 16 de fevereiro, das 12h às 20h. Durante o evento, representantes da SDS estarão disponíveis para orientar o público sobre o processo de cadastramento no Alerta Celular e Alerta Bike. Além disso, será possível registrar boletins de ocorrência de roubo ou furto de celulares e bicicletas.

Para registrar um celular no sistema, é necessário ter o IMEI do aparelho. Já para cadastrar uma bicicleta, o cidadão deve informar o chassi do veículo. A equipe da SDS também estará orientando sobre os procedimentos corretos a serem seguidos caso a pessoa seja vítima de roubo ou furto.

A ação acontece no piso L3 do centro de compras. O Shopping Patteo Olinda está localizado na Rua Carmelita Muniz de Araújo, nº 225, em Casa Caiada.
