Plaza Shopping realiza exposição fotográfica inclusiva

Como forma de destacar o Dia da Pessoa com Deficiência Intelectual e Múltipla, celebrado nesta quinta (22), o Plaza Shopping realiza a exposição “Chique é ser diferente”, a partir da próxima segunda (26) até 31 de agosto de 2024.

A mostra vai exibir 30 imagens inéditas do fotógrafo profissional Nicholas Filinkoski, que é uma pessoa com Síndrome de Down. O material será exposto na passarela que conecta o Edifício Garagem ao mall, no piso L3, com acesso gratuito, nos horários de funcionamento do empreendimento.

O material destaca modelos homens e mulheres com Síndrome de Down, Autismo e deficiências físicas, em ensaio que foi realizado na Livraria Jaqueira do Bairro do Recife, entre junho e agosto.

“O objetivo da exposição é dar visibilidade a esse público. Os convidados usaram roupas de festa, o que inspirou o título da mostra. Tivemos situações como modelos que não se reconheceram diante da produção que foi executada. Ficaram deslumbradas com a oportunidade de posar em grande estilo e ter aquele momento eternizado”, destaca a mãe de Nicholas, Elena Filinkoski, que também atua como coordenadora do projeto Down+.

Nicholas é formado em Fotografia há quatro anos pela Uninassau e já realizou exposições em vários locais como escolas, shoppings e centros culturais. A moda é uma das suas áreas favoritas para capturar detalhes. Após o encerramento da mostra “Chique é ser diferente”, a ideia é doar o material para acervo dos pais de cada modelo.

Como forma de promover a inclusão independente de datas de conscientização, o Plaza Shopping realizou, este ano, a primeira contratação de uma pessoa com Síndrome de Down, através do Atendimento ao Cliente (SAC). Larissa Lima é uma jovem aprendiz, que começou há poucas semanas e trabalha de segunda à quinta, das 9h às 13h.
