Comprometimento com práticas socioambientais garante prêmio Selo Verde ao RioMar Recife pela quarta vez

Como reconhecimento ao comprometimento com a preservação do meio ambiente, a eficiência energética e a responsabilidade socioambiental, o RioMar Recife recebeu, pela quarta vez, o certificado Empresa Verde, certificação concedida pela Junta Comercial de Pernambuco (Jucepe). A premiação chegou à sua quarta edição, tendo o RioMar Recife premiado em todas elas. A cerimônia foi realizada nesta quarta-feira (dia 5 de junho) no Auditório do Cais do Sertão.

O prêmio Selo Verde é concedido a empresas que, de forma comprovada, desenvolvem práticas ambientais sustentáveis e o conceito de sustentabilidade faz parte do RioMar Recife desde o seu projeto, construção e operação, com a redução de consumo de recursos naturais.

“Ficamos felizes pelo reconhecimento, por mais um ano, conferido pelo Selo Verde a partir das práticas socioambientais adotadas pelo RioMar Recife e Grupo JCPM. Práticas estas presentes no empreendimento desde sua construção até hoje, doze anos de gestão e operação sustentável de forma integrada e permanente junto com a comunidade, lojistas, clientes e parceiros de negócios”, afirma Denielly Halinski, gerente de Marketing do RioMar Recife.

A governadora Raquel Lyra e a vice-governadora Priscila Krause, juntamente com Amanda Aires, secretária de Desenvolvimento Profissional e Empreendedorismo, e Ana Luísa Ferreira, secretaria de Meio Ambiente, Sustentabilidade e Fernando de Noronha, fizeram a entrega do troféu e do certificado para as representantes do RioMar Recife e do Grupo JCPM: Denielly Halinski, gerente de Marketing do RioMar Recife, e Thayara Paschoal, gerente de Sustentabilidade do Grupo JCPM.

O selo de Empresa Verde consiste em uma ação da Jucepe, em parceria com a Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Profissional e Empreendedorismo (Sedepe), a Secretaria de Meio Ambiente, Sustentabilidade e de Fernando de Noronha (Semas-PE) e a Agência Estadual de Meio Ambiente (CPRH). É voltado à promoção de políticas públicas destinadas à preservação ambiental e sustentabilidade no estado de Pernambuco.

Práticas sustentáveis

Os empreendimentos do Grupo JCPM têm como parte de sua cultura as práticas sustentáveis. No RioMar Recife, desde a obra até a operação, tudo foi elaborado para funcionar com os melhores impactos locais. Inclusive, o shopping foi o primeiro da América Latina a receber o Selo de Alta Qualidade Ambiental, concedido pela Fundação Vanzolini ao auditar projeto, construção e processos operacionais adotados.

“Alinhadas ao nosso Manifesto de Sustentabilidade, as ações do Grupo JCPM materializam nosso compromisso com as melhores práticas socioambientais e esse selo concedido ao RioMar Recife pela quarta vez é mais uma chancela dos esforços das equipes em favor das ações sustentáveis que fazem parte da cultura do empreendimento e do grupo”, afirma Thayara Paschoal, gerente de Sustentabilidade do Grupo JCPM.

A construção do RioMar Recife teve alicerce em questões da sustentabilidade, como equipamentos de vida útil maior, para diminuir a troca ou geração de novos materiais, sistemas que demandam menos água (a vácuo), reaproveitamento da água da chuva, iluminação natural, para retardar o uso da artificial durante o dia, e instalação de uma central de resíduos com gestão de cooperativas associadas.

O shopping ainda recebeu, no fechamento de 2022 e início de 2023, o Selo I-REC, importante chancela de que a sua energia, adquirida no mercado livre, é proveniente 100% de fontes renováveis. No empreendimento existem espaços apropriados para o descarte responsável de diversos resíduos, coletor de eletroeletrônicos, além de papa bituca para coletar, reciclar e transformar em papel esse material descartado.

Além das iniciativas praticadas pelo empreendimento, constantes campanhas de conscientização e reflexão junto aos consumidores com temáticas relacionadas às questões ambientais e sociais são realizadas.
