Shopping Costa Dourada recebe ação contra o feminicídio

Movimento internacional nascido na Itália, o Banco Vermelho chega ao Shopping Costa Dourada nesta quarta-feira (dia 20) com o objetivo de conscientizar a população sobre a importância do combate ao feminicídio.

A ação ocorre na praça em frente ao Home Center Tupan a partir das 16h30. O banco vermelho permanece no local até o próximo mês. A iniciativa é uma promoção da Uninassau em parceria com o Shopping Costa Dourada.

Símbolo da ação, o banco representa mais que um local de descanso. O mobiliário convida as pessoas a sentar e refletir e também as encoraja a se levantar e agir.

Cada banco possui uma frase de reflexão e também um QR code que direciona o público para os canais de apoio a mulheres em situação de violência.

A Uninassau firmou parceria com o Instituto em março deste ano, sendo a primeira universidade do Brasil a apoiar o projeto.

Instituto Banco Vermelho

Criado em 2016, na Itália, o movimento Banco Vermelho é uma ação de ocupação urbana visando a luta contra o feminicídio. A iniciativa está presente em diversos países. No Brasil, ela teve início pelo Recife em novembro de 2023, graças à publicitária e ativista de gênero Andréa Rodrigues e à gestora de Marketing Paula Limongi, duas recifenses que enfrentaram o impacto do feminicídio em suas vidas a partir da perda de amigas. Juntas, elas fundaram o Instituto Banco Vermelho, dedicado à luta contra o feminicídio.

A iniciativa tem como objetivo a conscientização da sociedade para a causa a partir da instalação de bancos vermelhos (cenográficos e funcionais) em espaços públicos e privados.

O Instituto também atua na articulação com os diferentes poderes (Executivo, Legislativo e Judiciário), bem como com empresas privadas, para o desenvolvimento e engajamento de ações que possam ampliar a pauta junto à população.
