Olinda recebe banco vermelho em campanha sobre violência contra a mulher

A UNINASSAU Olinda inaugura, nesta terça-feira (19), às 11h, um banco vermelho cenográfico de 68,5cm de altura e 1,44m, ação do Instituto Banco Vermelho, com o objetivo de conscientizar a sociedade sobre a violência contra a mulher. O item vai permanecer no piso L4 do Shopping Patteo, apoiador da ação, em frente à Instituição de Ensino Superior, de 19 a 25 de março. Em seguida, será transferido para o piso L3, de 26 até 31 do mesmo mês.

O banco possui um QR Code que leva a um site com informações sobre os serviços de atendimento às mulheres em Pernambuco. “Por meio do banco vermelho, trabalhamos a questão da visibilidade e sensibilização, chamando a atenção da sociedade para a realidade de milhões de mulheres que são vítimas da violência e, muitas vezes, sofrem em silêncio. Como grupo educacional, reconhecemos a importância de sempre nos envolvermos com ações de responsabilidade social, sendo um agente de mudança na sociedade”, afirma Sérgio Murilo Jr., diretor de Governança Social do grupo Ser Educacional.

Ele ainda reforça que a unidade oferece um espaço seguro, na Clínica-Escola de Psicologia, onde será ofertado serviços de acolhimento psicológico às mulheres que estejam passando por alguma situação de assédio/violência ou sentindo a necessidade de atendimento.

“A nível Brasil, temos um alto índice de mulheres que foram vítimas do feminicídio. Precisamos de mais ações e projetos para refletir e falar sobre esse assunto, buscando orientar e conscientizar a população”, comenta Sabrina Lacerda, diretora da UNINASSAU Olinda.

Ser Mulher

O Ser Educacional oferece bolsas de graduação digital 100% gratuitas para mulheres vítimas de violência doméstica. A iniciativa faz parte do programa Ser Mulher, que conta com o apoio do Instituto Maria da Penha e Grupo Mulheres do Brasil, o qual também oferta apoio psicológico, suporte emocional e atendimento jurídico para as vítimas tirarem dúvidas e receberem assistência durante todo o processo. Os serviços são realizados nas Clínicas-Escola de Psicologia e no Núcleo de Práticas Jurídicas (NPJ) das unidades.

Sobre o Instituto Banco Vermelho

Manifesto de conscientização e combate ao feminicídio e à violência contra a mulher, o Instituto Banco Vermelho chegou ao Brasil em novembro de 2023. O projeto iniciou suas iniciativas no país por meio das instalações em espaços públicos no Recife-PE e, atualmente, contabiliza 25 unidades (bancos vermelhos), distribuídas em diversas regiões da capital pernambucana.
