Plaza Shopping inaugura Jardim Pet para convivência e lazer de cães e tutores

Em boa parte dos lares brasileiros, os pets são considerados membros da família e passaram a acompanhar cada vez mais os seus tutores em espaços de entretenimento e lazer. É crescente a demanda por lugares onde os bichinhos sejam bem recebidos e possam circular sem restrições. Pensando em ampliar esse espaço de convivência para o público da Zona Norte, o Plaza Shopping inaugurou o Jardim Pet Plaza, espaço que chega para atender a demanda de consumidores que amam passear com seus cãezinhos. A área ao ar livre, situada no jardim externo, conta com mobiliário de parque, brinquedos e obstáculos para os cães brincarem e correrem à vontade. O acesso é gratuito. A novidade faz parte das ações em comemoração ao aniversário do Plaza Shopping, que completa 25 anos em setembro.

“O Jardim Pet é um espaço muito desejado pelos clientes do shopping e será um ponto de encontro diário para famílias, frequentadores do shopping e moradores do entorno do Plaza. Depois de experiências bem-sucedidas no jardim do piso L2, em 2021 e 2022, planejamos esse ambiente de lazer para que os cães possam passear com suas famílias”, explicou Karina Dourado, superintendente do Plaza Shopping.

O Jardim Pet Plaza ocupa uma área arborizada de 443,60 m² e funciona no mesmo horário do shopping: de segunda a sábado das 9h às 22h, e aos domingos, das 12h às 21h. Entre os equipamentos disponíveis estão passarela, gangorra, circuitos de obstáculos, mesas e cadeiras para os tutores descansarem e acompanharem seus pets de perto. O espaço fica na esquina da Rua Dr. João Santos Filho com a Praça Jornalista F. Pessoa de Queiroz.

Para além de uma tendência nacional, os pets realmente fazem parte da vida dos clientes do Plaza. Pesquisa realizada pelo shopping, em outubro de 2022, revelou que 49% dos seus frequentadores possuem animais de estimação. “O Plaza tem o selo pet friendly desde 2017. Considerando a crescente presença de animais de estimação na vida das pessoas e no nosso dia a dia, passamos a promover ações com o objetivo de tornar nossos espaços cada vez mais harmônicos para a convivência do nosso público e seus pets”, explicou Carol Seabra, gerente de Marketing do Plaza.

Os cães de qualquer porte, exceto os considerados de guarda, podem acessar o espaço, desde que estejam de coleira ou peitoral com a devida identificação. No entanto, algumas raças não são permitidas como Akita, American Pitbull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Doberman, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Pastor-Alemão, Pastor Belga-Malinois e Rottweiler. Também não é permitida a entrada de cães fêmeas no cio e cães bravos. Apenas os cães guias podem circular por todas as áreas.

Este ano, o Plaza também ampliou os espaços onde os cães podem permanecer com os seus donos enquanto eles fazem alguma refeição. Atualmente, a Praça do Piano (L3) e os lounges das cafeterias The Coffee (L2), The Brownie Bakery (L3), Deltaexpresso (L4) e Cacau Show (L2) são pet friendly. Números – A paixão pelos pets é cada vez maior no Brasil. De acordo com a Pesquisa Nacional de Saúde (PNS) de 2019, realizada pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), 46,1% dos domicílios têm pelo menos um cachorro. Com 149,6 milhões de animais de estimação, segundo o censo do IPB (Instituto Pet Brasil) de 2021, o Brasil é o terceiro país em número de animais domésticos. De acordo com o Boletim Tendências e Oportunidades, da Associação Brasileira de Shopping Centers (Abrasce) de 2022, em 91% dos estabelecimentos os animais de estimação são permitidos e podem passear na companhia de seus melhores amigos.
