Relatório ASG do Grupo JCPM mostra ações realizadas nos shoppings

Investimento de R$ 15,3 milhões na área Social, inovações tecnológicas construtivas que impactam em menor demanda por recursos naturais, além de uma conexão com o entorno dos empreendimentos são algumas das abordagens existentes no 1º Relatório Ambiental, Social e de Governança do Grupo JCPM, lançado esta semana. O momento também marcou o anúncio do início do primeiro inventário das emissões de gases do efeito estufa em dois shoppings do Grupo (RioMar Recife e RioMar Aracaju), além do escritório sede da empresa.

O Relatório ASG 2022 faz um resgate da história de atuação da empresa e detalha as iniciativas mais marcantes de 2022, além dos dados de consumo e impacto. O Grupo JCPM tem atuação no Nordeste e conta com mais de 3,4 mil colaboradores, impulsionando a geração de outros 40 mil. Fazem parte dos setores de atuação: shopping center, imobiliário, comunicação e compromisso social. Shoppings com redução de consumo de água e energia, como descarga a vácuo e iluminação natural, uso de água das chuvas, centrais de resíduos, estão entre as iniciativas do Grupo.

O momento de lançamento contou com a palestra de Lisiane Lemos, uma referência no País em discussões de Inclusão Digital e Diversidade, sobretudo, na inserção de pessoas negras no mercado de trabalho. Ela conversou com a equipe sobre a importância de se apropriar das ações, ter conhecimento e da necessidade de todos nós, como sociedade, agirmos em prol do futuro, seja com iniciativas ambientais, que visem o consumo consciente, de empresas socialmente responsáveis. “Falar em sustentabilidade hoje é falar em sustentabilidade de pessoas. Essa é a oportunidade de ajudar a construir esse futuro. Precisamos criar espaços, proporcionar oportunidades para elas e mostrar que esses lugares podem ser de todo mundo. O Grupo JCPM está construindo seu caminho para uma agenda ASG de sucesso e essa jornada transformará a vida de milhares de pessoas”, comentou Lisiane.

Alguns dados foram demonstrados pelo presidente-executivo da Shopping Centers S.A, Jaime de Queiroz Filho, fazendo um resgate deste a Fundação Pedro Paes Mendonça (FPPM) passando pelo Instituto João Carlos Paes Mendonça (IJCPM) e pelo modelo construtivo e operacional das demais áreas. “Precisamos estar preparados para o futuro. Olhar para a comunidade faz parte do nosso direcionamento”, afirmou Jaime.

Esta é a primeira publicação ASG do Grupo e mostra a evolução na maneira agir e de gerar valor para clientes, parceiros, lojistas, fornecedores, equipes internas e toda sociedade. “Sem este movimento e sem sustentabilidade será impossível viver e pensar em empresa no futuro. Isso é para hoje e não para amanhã. Precisamos seguir em frente, aprender mais e fazer mais, vivenciando essa nova realidade do mundo”, comentou o presidente do Grupo JCPM, João Carlos Paes Mendonça.

Durante o processo de construção do relatório e partir de entrevistas realizadas com parceiros e colaboradores, foram listadas as temáticas prioritárias do Grupo a partir dos segmentos de atuação: Desenvolvimento Integrado, Transformação em rede, Mudanças climáticas e impactos socioambientais e Cultura ASG e diversidade, equidade e inclusão. 

“O Relatório ASG vai além do compartilhamento de um resumo das inciativas desenvolvidas de 2022. O material representa um novo modelo de comunicação de posicionamento do Grupo JCPM, ainda mais transparente e colaborativo, em favor do compromisso com a sociedade, que integra genuinamente nossas estratégias de negócio. Entendemos que transbordar em sustentabilidade é influenciar e sofrer influência constantemente, e esse conteúdo é uma oportunidade de conexão, troca e inspiração por uma atuação de maior e melhor impacto”, contextualiza a gerente de Sustentabilidade do Grupo, Thayara Paschoal.
