RioMar Recife ganha Ouro do Prêmio Abrasce com a Expo Preta

A 1ª Expo Preta, realizada pelo RioMar em parceria com o Instituto JCPM de Compromisso Social, ficou em primeiro lugar, com Ouro, no Prêmio Abrasce (Associação Brasileira de Shopping Centers) deste ano, um dos mais importantes do segmento. O destaque foi na categoria Newton Rique de Sustentabilidade - que estimula iniciativas conectadas com responsabilidade ambiental, social e governança. Expo Preta RioMar aconteceu em novembro último e tinha como um dos objetivos o desenvolvimento e inclusão de afroempreendedores locais na dinâmica do negócio, além de palestras e debates sobre diversidade. O Salvador Shopping, empreendimento que também faz parte do Grupo JCPM, assim como o RioMar, foi destaque na premiação, na categoria Campanhas Institucionais, recebendo Prata com o Projeto de celebração de 15 anos do empreendimento.

Tendo o shopping como ambiente importante de debates para sociedade, a realização da 1ª Expo Preta abriu espaço para empreendedores negros locais para expor suas produções e debater temas ligados ao incentivo ao afroempreendedorismo. Realizado no mês da Consciência Negra, o evento fortaleceu ainda mais a conexão entre a comunidade e o RioMar Recife e impulsionou a economia criativa das comunidades.

“Ficamos muito felizes com a criação e o resultado da Expo Preta RioMar, em parceria com IJCPM, por reunir negócios, cultura e conteúdo num só evento. De forma democrática e inclusiva, a Expo Preta RioMar dá a merecida visibilidade tanto aos afroempreendedores do Pina e Brasília Teimosa quanto às suas iniciativas autorais. O evento foi tão bem-sucedido que já entrou para o calendário anual do RioMar, com a próxima edição prevista para novembro de 2023”, afirma Denielly Halinski, gerente de Marketing do RioMar Recife.

O evento foi realizado em dois polos. No Piso L3, ficou a parte de exposição, conteúdo e interação, com participação de 23 empreendedoras e empreendedores em 18 estandes. Com rodas de diálogos, oficinas, mostras de arte e shows gratuitos abertos ao público, a mostra ainda trouxe a sociedade para refletir sobre temas importantes relacionados à igualdade racial e representatividade no espaço do shopping. Já no Teatro RioMar aconteceu painel de discussão sobre o tema com a participação de personalidades como Nina Silva, sócia fundadora do Movimento Black Money, e Manoela Alves, diretora executiva do Instituto Enegrecer, além de show de encerramento de Toni Garrido

“A Expo Preta é uma das iniciativas do posicionamento Diversidade e Inclusão do Grupo JCPM associada a uma agenda sustentável corporativa. Entendemos que ações estruturadas como a da Expo Preta são um exemplo prático de estímulo à criação de uma economia mais inclusiva e sustentável, reforçando o compromisso social da empresa”, destaca a gestora de Diversidade e Inclusão do Grupo JCPM, Juliana Martorelli.

Esta foi a 21ª Edição do Prêmio Abrasce e foram inscritos 423 projetos em diversas categorias. Desses, 187 foram finalistas. “Os shoppings são locais de impulsionamento econômico nas regiões onde atuam. Essa premiação dá destaque aos processos de construção de soluções e compartilhar cada uma delas aqui é um dos principais ganhos da premiação”, comentou o presidente da Abrasce, Glauco Humai, durante a abertura da solenidade, realizada na noite desta terça-feira, no WTC, em São Paulo.

SALVADOR SHOPPING

O Salvador Shopping recebeu Prata, na categoria Campanhas Institucionais, com Festa Dupla, Festival Salvador, iniciativa que foi um dos marcos da comemoração de aniversário de 15 anos de shopping que se uniu à celebração do aniversário da cidade. Com o mote “A Salvador dentro do Salvador”, a cidade foi transportada para a Praça Central durante o Festival Salvador, em março de 2022. “Pudemos prestar essa homenagem a Salvador, capital baiana, com referências culturais, musicais, gastronômicas, esporte e lazer”, comenta Marianna Muniz, gerente de marketing. Na Praça Central do shopping, o público assistiu a apresentações musicais, de teatro, capoeira, danças folclóricas, samba de roda e participou de aulas de dança, oficinas de arte e culinária local. Na área externa, painéis apresentavam fotografias de pontos turísticos e cenários, reinventados através de desenhos sobrepostos, trabalho realizado por jovens talentos da comunidade do entorno e que passaram por formação no Instituto JCPM de Compromisso Social.
