Ação no Camará Shopping reforça importância do Dia Mundial da Conscientização do Autismo

Neste domingo (2) é celebrado o Dia Mundial da Conscientização do Autismo. Para marcar a data, o Camará Shopping em parceria com o Grupo de Apoio aos Pais de Pessoas com Autismo de Camaragibe (GAPPAC) fará uma ação para compartilhar com a sociedade a importância de conhecer, aceitar, acolher e respeitar as pessoas com autismo.

O evento será realizado no Piso L1, em frente à Centauro, das 14h às 18h, onde serão realizadas diversas atividades, incluindo exposições fotográficas e distribuição de panfletos que visam sensibilizar a população sobre a importância do respeito e inclusão das pessoas com autismo. 

A iniciativa é de extrema importância, uma vez que o autismo é um transtorno que afeta milhões de pessoas em todo o mundo. Apesar de ter se tornado mais conhecido nos últimos anos, muitas pessoas ainda não entendem completamente as características e particularidades do espectro autista, o que pode levar a situações de preconceito e discriminação.

O GAPPAC surgiu da necessidade de acolher pais e filhos que vivem nesse contexto, criando uma rede de apoio mútuo. O grupo existe desde de 2015 e acolhe atualmente, de forma on-line, cerca de 179 mães. No entanto, mesmo que de forma remota, o grupo promove conversas, bate-papos, eventos e encontros nos quais acolhem e compartilham experiências, afetos e momentos de descontração, tanto para os filhos quanto para os pais. 

Por isso, a ação promovida pelo Camará Shopping em parceria com o GAPPAC é uma forma de trazer mais informação sobre o autismo para a sociedade, ajudando a eliminar estigmas e promover a inclusão e o respeito pelas pessoas que convivem com o espectro autista.
