Shopping Costa Dourada recebe 1º evento Geek do Litoral Sul de Pernambuco

O que personagens como Homem de Ferro, o Mandaloriano e Bita têm em comum? Além de estarem inseridos em um setor que movimenta em torno de R$ 20 bilhões por ano apenas no Brasil, eles estarão reunidos em um evento que irá movimentar o Litoral Sul pernambucano. Trata-se da Geek Mix, que acontece nos dias 21 e 22, das 14h às 20h, na Arena Costa Dourada, na área externa do Shopping Costa Dourada.

O evento, gratuito e voltado para o público de todas as idades, visa ser um espaço de fortalecimento do cenário geek local, abrindo portas para um setor em constante crescimento. Para ter ideia do potencial do segmento, o mercado de quadrinhos mobiliza cerca de 20 milhões de leitores ao mês, segundo a Associação de Cartunistas do Brasil (ABC); enquanto que os jogos eletrônicos são consumidos por 73,4% dos brasileiros, de acordo com números da Game Brasil. Para o evento que ocorre este mês no Shopping Costa Dourada, a expectativa dos organizadores é atrair um público estimado em cerca de 10 mil pessoas ao longo dos dois dias de feira.

Programação
O Geek Mix terá uma programação diversificada, com atividades voltadas para o empreendedorismo, jogos eletrônicos, música e cultura geek. Na área destinada aos e-sports, o público irá contar com a Arena Gamer, com consoles e aparelhos de fliperama com jogos clássicos e atuais. Haverá ainda a exibição ao vivo, no Cinema Costa Dourada, da final do campeonato de Free Fire. Na área voltada para os cosplayers, o evento terá apresentação e concurso de cosplay e show cover de K-Pop, gênero musical originado na Coreia do Sul.

Os amantes da cultura geek poderão ainda curtir atrações como painéis com artistas, dubladores e quadrinistas. Entre os nomes confirmados estão o do ilustrador e desenhista do Cabo de Santo Agostinho Kin Noise, responsável pela arte da capa do CD Pandora, de Luísa Sonza, do pôster da turnê nacional da banda Gun N’ Roses e de pôster para a série O Mandaloriano, da Disney; do ilustrador e quadrinista pernambucano Thony Silas, que já produziu trabalhos para a Marvel e DC Comics; e do ator e roteirista de histórias em quadrinhos e curtas Eron Villar.

O evento terá também a presença de João Henrique Souza, sócio-fundador da Mr. Plot, estúdio responsável pela criação e desenvolvimento de conteúdos do Mundo Bita, que já soma mais de 9 bilhões de visualizações no YouTube e uma indicação ao Grammy Latino; e Marco Ribeiro, ator e dublador responsável pelas vozes em português dos atores Jim Carrey, Tom Hanks e Robert Downey Jr., bem como do Xerife Woody, da franquia Toy Story. Dentro de uma proposta empreendedora, o Geek Mix receberá Verônica Dantas, fundadora e diretora da consultoria de negócios e relacionamento RPA Experience e gestora e cofundadora da Nerd Bnk, plataforma de benefícios para quem curte cultura pop.

A Geek Mix contará ainda com área para autógrafos, venda de itens, palestras e painéis, distribuição de brindes da Warner Bros e Universal Studios e ações com membros dos canais Potterando. A programação contará ainda com a exibição do filme de animação pernambucano “Além da Lenda”, trabalho baseado nas lendas do folclore brasileiro, como o Saci e a Comadre Fulozinha.
